PVF Fantasy Volleyball League

We take a players stat totals for each match, and project it to a four set match. This standardizes each match for each player's contributions. It also avoids rewarding players for playing longer matches (which is not good). We calculate per set scores for each stat and multiply that by four to normalize the data to four sets.

Raw point calculations:

The league has 7 teams which each play 24 games. The schedule is very irregular, meaning some teams play much earlier than others (the Fury do not play their second game until Mid-February, and by then the Vibe will have already played five games.

So if your team struggles early, fret not! The season is not over yet.

All roster changes (free agency, trade, etc.) will be reflected in the soonest upcoming match, unless the transaction happens during any match. In that case, it will be reflected in the following match.

If you would like to add a free agent, please text the groupchat with both the player you want to add and the current roster player you would like to drop.

The fastest team wins the player! However you must specify the player to drop in your message to add a player.

Injured reserve allows you to temporarily bench a rostered player until they become healthy. For the injured reserve, we have a few rules:

• - Two players maximum can be on injured reserve on your roster.

• - To add a player to injured reserve, message the groupchat with the player you would like to place on IR.

• - Player must be rostered first to be on injured reserve. Therefore, teams with a full roster cannot add an injured reserve player directly from free agency.

• - To add an injured reserve player from free agency, you must first drop a player of the same position. All other roster managers have three days to claim the player. If no one claims the player, that player can be added back to your roster.

If you would like to make a trade, please text the groupchat and have both players message to confirm the trade.

• - We will be doing a "Snake" style draft (first player picks last every other round)

• - The draft will be seven rounds

• - Each team needs: 1 Setter, 2 Outside Hitters, 1 Opposite Hitter, 2 Blockers, and 1 Libero

• - Each player will have five minutes to choose. If a player cannot make it to the draft, they can choose to have either Lauren draft their roster or we will autodraft the next best player by position.
